March’s arrangement started, appropriately, with the raw materials of arranging: chrysanthemums still cool from the florist, floral foam and wire, shears laid ready on a gilded tray.
The finished bouquet did not stay still for long. It moved through the room in someone’s hand, passed and admired, gathering its own small crowd before it ever found a vase.
